Didn’t file a tax return for 2018 or 2019? Haven’t gotten your Economic Impact Payment (Stimulus Check) Yet?
You may be able to provide information to the IRS by November 21, 2020 and still get your Economic Impact Payment!
The IRS recently announced that it has
extended the deadline to provide them with information to get Economic Impact
Payments. This applies to people who:
Did not file a
2018 or 2019 federal tax return;
Have not received
an Economic Impact Payment yet; and
Have not already registered with the IRS to get an Economic Impact Payment through the IRS Non-filer tool.
If this applies to you, you have until
November 21, 2020 to get your information to the IRS.
Go to https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here. Scroll down the page and click on the button that says "Enter your information." Follow the directions. You will need to provide names and social security numbers of household members, including children, along with mailing address and bank account information for direct deposit. The IRS plans to issue payments before December 31, 2020.
